154 boxes of uncustomed cigarettes seized
The Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) seized 154 boxes of uncustomed cigarettes, branded Craven A and Newport, each containing 50 cartons, at an apartment in St Andrew yesterday.
Reports from the CTOC are that officers were on an operation in the area when a house was searched and the illicit cigarettes, found.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Clifford Chambers, "The drugs are believed to be a part of a large trade of counterfeit items."
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
