Men held for bartender's murder
Three of four suspects who were wanted in connection with the gruesome rape and murder of 21-year-old bartender Dominique Parnell are now behind bars, while a fourth suspect is still on the run.
According to the Clarendon police, two of the men implicated in the rape and murder of Parnell were picked up on Sunday, following the discovery of the badly burnt and mutilated body of the bartender in bushes close to the Halse Hall Football Field on the same day.
The cops also reported that the third suspect, a 17-year-old, who is currently before the courts on a number of charges, was picked on Monday by police investigators.
"We have already picked up three of them (suspects) and we are intensifying our investigation in this matter," an investigator told THE STAR.
According to police reports, the-21-year-old bartender, who is from a Mullet Hall address in Chapelton, Clarendon, reportedly went to a dance with friends in the Halse Hall area last Saturday night.
It is reported that while at the dance the deceased wondered outside and was commandeered away by four men, who are suspected of raping, shooting and setting her ablaze.
