Four injured in drive-by shooting

The police in Westmoreland have launched a probe following a drive-by shooting yesterday in Savanna-la-Mar, which left four people nursing gunshot wounds.
Information reaching THE STAR is that three males and a female were shot and injured after men alighted from a Toyota Corolla motorcar and opened fire.
The incident took place along Darling Street about 5:20 p.m.
THE STAR gathered that the injuries were not considered life threatening.
Up to this morning the police said investigators have not established a motive for the shooting.
The Corporate Communications unit (CCU) confirmed the reports and told our news team that investigations were ongoing.
