Four guns seized in Hanover

Four firearms, 34 assorted rounds of ammunition and a number of lead sheets were seized by lawmen during an operation in Land Top, Chestercastle in Hanover yesterday.

Reports are that about 6:15 a.m., Police responded to shots being fired in the area. On their arrival a premises was searched and seized the guns and ammunition.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
