Mechanic shot dead in St Catherine

Police in St Catherine are searching for those responsible for the killing of a mechanic at his home in RoseMount, Linstead, yesterday morning.

Dead is 42-year-old Rohan McLeish, of RoseMount, Linstead, St Catherine.

Reports are that about 7:30 a.m. on September 13, explosions were heard in the RoseMount area.

The police were summoned and, upon arrival, McLeish was found suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the head.

He was rushed to the Linstead Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has been established for the attack.

The Linstead Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
