Flow Sports launched Caribbean-wide

CABLE & Wireless (C&W) launched its new sports network, Flow Sports, on Monday, November 23.

Flow's TV customers can access new, exciting and high quality sports programming, featuring the best local and international action in the new channel which is available in Flow's Basic TV package.

"With Flow Sports we are changing the game," said John Reid, President of Cable & Wireless's Consumer Group, which operates both the Flow and LIME brands.

"Our goal is to be the number one destination for sports fans in the Caribbean. Flow Sports will offer our customers the best possible viewing experience of the content that they are truly passionate about."

The 24/7 HD network has been purpose-built to deliver a world-class viewing experience to Flow customers. In addition to the best regional and international football, initial cricket programming will include home games of South Africa, the world's best Test side; New Zealand home series; the Ram Slam T20 tournament; and the T20 Bangladesh Premier League featuring West Indies superstars Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine and Darren Sammy.

Flow Sports will also deliver exclusive NFL regular season games, athletics, auto racing, Fed and Davis Cup tennis, rugby and much more. In addition, Flow Sports will be C&W's key broadcast platform for the Rio Olympics. Fans of Chelsea FC and Liverpool are also in for a treat, as Flow Sports covers all the action at Stamford Bridge and Anfield'.

Flow Sports is broadcast from a newly constructed, state-of-the-art media facility in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The new facility includes a new HD studio, an industry-leading 4-K ready broadcast system, and unique remote broadcast capabilities, all which will bring the action closer to Flow customers.

In the coming months Flow will be expanding the Flow Sports experience across mobile platforms via the market-leading Flow ToGo application.
