Red-hot Molynes United FC will meet Whitfield Town FC in the quarter-finals of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/J B Charley's Rum Major League at Constant Spring Complex tonight, starting at 8:30.

In the first of a double-header in the Corporate Area second- tier league Monday Night Football, Olympic Gardens face Duhaney Park, starting at 6:30.

Molynes are heavily favoured to win against Whitfield and ease into the semi-finals. The Molynes United team, under the guidance of veteran coach Calvert Fitzgerald, was very impressive in the preliminary round by winning 12 of 14 games, with two drawn results.

Whitfield were not that dominant as they finished with five wins, three draws and six losses in their group. However, it is a different stage, so Whitfield will look for an upset victory against Molynes tonight.

"Well, we are prepared for this game. The players are focused on the game. We are ready as the objective is to win the Major League and qualify for next season's Super League," Fitzgerald told STAR Sports yesterday.

Molynes will rely on the competition's leading marksman, Ramone Rose who is on 15 goals, as well as captain Oneil Thomas and Patrick Shecklude to take them into the last four.

In the opening game, it should be a very competitive affair between Olympic Gardens and Duhaney Park.

Both games will be play to the finish, so if the results are tied at the end of regular and extra-time, penalty kicks will be the decider.
