Defending champs Quest win again

Defending champions Quest won all their matches, to date, in the Scotiabank Prep School Cricket competition, including their latest, beating Meadowbrook by eight wickets at Melbourne Cricket Club on Wednesday.

Meadowbrook batted first and made 52, all out, in 17.2 overs, on the back of top scorer Jonah Cooper, nine.

Blaine Byam bagged two for 15 in five overs.

Quest replied with 56 for two in 7.3 overs. Blaine Byam, 24 not out, got the most runs and Nathaniel Brooks, 17, also not out, gave good support. Jonah Cooper one for 17 in three overs was the only wicket taker.

Quest's four wins, so far, came against Richmond, on the opening day, followed by wins over Our Lady of the Angels, and former champions, Lannaman's Prep.

Other victors were Trafalgar Prep, who got the better of Dunrobin by seven wickets; Mona, who overcame St. Catherine by three wickets, and Lannaman's, who defeated Our Lady of the Angels by three wickets.

Liguanea got a walkover Excell.
