Jamaica's Elaine Thomspon and Dutch dynamo Dafne Schippers look set to dominate the women's 200m over the next few years.

Schippers' close win over Thompson in what was an amazing final at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, produced confirmation of the tremendous ability of both athletes

The pair stopping the clock at 21.63 and 21.66 respectively - made them the third and fifth fastest women in history.

Eugene has seen two sub-22 seconds clocking in the women's 100m including Allyson Felix's 21.69, which she ran in 2012.

Felix is not in this race, but you can bet she will be looking on in interest as the two biggest threats to her Olympic 200m title go at each other.
