Football fans are in for a treat as SportsMax kicks off its Copa AmErica 2016 coverage with its six-a-side competition at Football Factory on Sunday at 10 a.m. with 32 teams vying for over JA$100,000 in cash and prizes.

The Copa AmErica six-a-side competition will be contested over three legs, coinciding with Jamaica's three group-stage matches on June 5, 9, and 13, followed by big screen viewings of the Reggae Boyz matches, with half-time entertainment and giveaways, plus treats for kids and the whole family throughout the day.

The six-a-side tournament will see over 320 players outfitted in Velle football kits provided by sponsors, Locker Room Sports with the top eight teams advancing to the quarter-final round on June 9 when Jamaica plays Mexico, and the final four playing in the semi-final and final for the bragging rights trophy on June 13 when Jamaica plays Uruguay.

In its hundredth year, the Copa AmErica Centenario will see the Jamaica Reggae Boyz, led by English Premier League winning Captain Wes Morgan, going up against the likes of Mexico and Uruguay on North American soil.

The Copa AmErica begins today at 8:30 p.m., with host country USA taking their first strike at the title against Colombia.

SportsMax will broadcast all 32 matches until June 26 live across its 30 Caribbean territories with a pre-and-postgame show shot on location at the Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records. Lance Whittaker will travel with the Boyz and provide all the pitch side and locker room action from the tournament.
