Danish instructor for FIFA course

Experienced coach, technical director and member of FIFA's panel of Instructors, Jan Poulsen, has been appointed to conduct the next FIFA Advance Level 2 coaching course in Jamaica.

The course will be held at the Jamaica Football Federation's (JFF) football centre, University of the West Indies, August 8-14. This course certifies all technical personnel at the National Premier League level as well as head coaches in the Manning and daCosta Cup competitions. Coaches must be Advance Level 2 certified to hold these positions.This will be the 13th Advance Level 2 course under the auspices of the Jamaica Money Market Brokers/JFF/University of Technology Coaching School. Already close to 300 coaches have been certified at this level. Instructor Poulsen has in the past served as technical director of Armenia, Singapore and Denmark.

Topics to be covered in the course include: Building a winning team; youth talent development; defensive principles; attacking principles; trends in world football and preparing for a new season.
