Teddy leads the pack
Former national men's senior team and international representative Jermaine 'Teddy' Johnson and Shamar Nicholson of Boys' Town are leading the race for the Golden Boot title in this season's Red Stripe Premier League.
The 36-year-old Johnson and Nicholson, who is only 20-years-old, share the leading goal scorer on eight goals apiece as the front-runners heading into today's last set of games for the year.
National striker Dino Williams of Montego Bay United comes next on seven goals. Tivoli's Elton Thompson and Rochane Smith of the University of the West Indies FC are on six goals apiece.
Phillip Peddie of promoted Maverley-Hughenden is on five goals. The players whom are on four goals, include Newton Sterling (Arnett Gardens), Ranique Muir (Harbour View), Francois Swaby (Humble Lion), Wolry Wolfe (Humble Lion), Rohan Richards (Jamalco), Roshane Sharpe (Jamalco), Nicholas Scott (Maverley-Hughenden), and Anthony Greenland (UWI FC).
