I won't coach a club again until I own one, says Hyde

Former Portmore United coach, Lenworth Hyde Sr said that he has no intention of coaching at the club level again...at least not unless he is the owner.

Hyde was sacked as Portmore United's technical director two weeks ago. He was hired last November and fired after the team reached the quarter-final stage.

"No. I won't coach again at the club level until I am an owner," Hyde told STAR Sports yesterday.

"It appears as if the owners have problem with me," he added.

Hyde also spent time with Hazard United (now Portmore United), Tivoli Gardens and Harbour View where he won titles. He was fired following success at those clubs.

Hyde pointed out that he is still at Clarendon College as technical director of the school's football programme.

"I am still at Clarendon College as technical director," the former Clarendon College and Jamaica national star midfielder said.
