Can't stop my man from cheating on me

Dear Pastor,

I am 20 years old. I live with my babyfather. I have a five-month-old baby. My babyfather is cheating on me. I searched his phone and found out that any time I acted up, he would cheat with girls.

Do you think I should tell him that I know that he is cheating? Every time I ask him, he says that he has never cheated on me. Pastor, I don't know what to do. I pray for him, but he is not changing.

Sometimes I feel like I should go back to my mother's house, but I stay because of my daughter.

I didn't grow up with my parents and it was a very bad experience for me. So I want my daughter to grow up with both parents. He takes care of me and my daughter, but he is lying to me.

T.B.

Dear T.B.,

You will never be able to do anything to stop this man from cheating. In fact, you are only getting yourself depressed by searching his phone. You don't need any proof.

You have enough evidence. It is unlikely that he would ever tell you the truth. I am sorry, but I have to tell you the truth. Even if you were to go back to your parents, he would not stop cheating.

You may continue to pray and ask God to do a work of grace in his life that may cause him to turn away from all other women and stick to you only.

Do not search his phone, but tell him that if both of you are going to have sex, he should use the condom because you know that he is having sex with other women and you don't want him to pass on STIs to you.
