Orangutans in Melbourne have been playing video games. Microsoft has teamed up with Zoos Victoria at the University of Melbourne to research how orangutans interact with technology and make decisions by getting them to play Xbox.

The first orangutan to be tested was 12-year-old Melu and he seemed to like the video game as he ran to the game console and attempted to kiss it, according to unilad.co.uk.

PG Tips' projected a monkey onto London's Big Ben to celebrate the Chinese New Year last Sunday.

The iconic London building was illuminated with the familiar 'cheeky monkey' from their advert campaign and could be seen and heard for miles around, from China town to Primrose Hill, to celebrate the biggest event of the Chinese year outside of Asia.

The monkey has previously scaled The Shard, to mark the New Year.

A Reading University student has got a tattoo of 'EastEnders' character Ian Beale tattooed on her thigh.

Amber-May Ellis, 21, has no regrets about having the piece of the popular soap persona, in a woolly hat with scraggly hair during his homeless phase in 2013, inked across most of her leg - even though it was done in a drunken bet. Speaking to student newspaper The Tab, she said: "Basically it was a drunken bet - but it was so irrelevant no one can remember what it actually was. All we know was that I lost and I was getting the tattoo. It was a crazy night."
