The world's first hamdog - a combined hotdog and hamburger - has been produced.
The idea was thought up by inventor Mark Murray back in 2004 while on holiday in Nashville with his wife, but now the hamdog has gone on sale in Australia. The meaty treat is sold for $8 and includes beef patty and hot dog with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Speaking to News.com.au, Mr Murray said: "At the moment there is a fair bit of labour involved in making the buns because they're made by people, not machines. We're still developing a way to semi-automate production."
A burglar used an umbrella and white sheet to go unnoticed while robbing a shop.
The strange behaviour, which took place in a store in the city of Liaoyang in China, was caught on an in-store CCTV camera. Footage shows the thief walking into the shop under an umbrella covered with a white sheet to conceal their identity. A second camera appears to show the robber holding a large bag to store the goods but their identity is covered from every angle and they were able to make off with the items at around 2 a.m. on September 13. The shop owner has reported PS1,000 worth of cigarettes stolen, and despite police having the footage to analyse, the crook has not yet been caught.
A man has been arrested after it was claimed he measured his penis at a college urinal.
Thomas Morgan, 42, from Iowa, has been arrested by police on a misdemeanour indecent exposure charge in connection with an incident at the University of Iowa's Main Library. He was taken to the Johnson County Jail on Wednesday and released after paying a $1,000 bond. It is claimed the man measured the length of his genitals with a cardboard ruler while standing at a urinal inside a college library bathroom. According to the complaint, police say Morgan "partially turned his body towards the victim/witness who was using a urinal in the bathroom." The victim said Morgan "made a comment regarding his size" to which he said, he "felt weird and uncomfortable" seeing the defendant's "semi-erect penis." Morgan reportedly admitted to measuring himself with the ruler. However, he denied being aroused but told police he is guilty of "being curious".
