Nightingale gets her music on MTV show
Super-talented female artiste Nightingale is a gifted singer, talented entertainer, and an outstanding songwriter. She has carved out a reputation with fans online who believe that her music is so down-to-earth, honest and realistic that you feel like you are going through the moment with her.
"My music is a blend of reggae, R&B and hip hop. Sometimes I flavour it with a little jazz or spice it with a touch of rock, but it's 100 per cent heart. The lyrics are reality-driven, so everyone can relate. There is something for everyone," she said.
The songbird has been well received by music industry insiders as well as top fashion designers. Her music has been chosen for 40 episodes on the hit MTV series, Undressed.
Nightingale's parents are from British Virgin Islands (BVI) and she was born in Brooklyn, New York. She has performed at many New York venues and has opened for Kanye West at Club Float. She was also the featured artiste for Hip Hop Fest, sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has also gained international praise and admiration while opening for Maxi Priest and jazz great Jon Lucien at the BVI Music Fest held in Tortola.
She also had the pleasure of opening for Mavado during the celebrated East End Long Look Festival Village, also held in the BVI. She most recently opened for dancehall star Busy Signal at the Emancipation celebrations held in Road Town, Tortola.
She is now in Jamaica doing the radio, and TV promotions for her new singles.
