Sanity to release mix tape
Recording artiste Sanity has been focusing on the release of his mixtape D Sane 1.
The effort consists of 17 songs from producers such as UIM Records, Renaissance Records, Deadline Records, and Tuffchin Records, to name a few. The up-and-coming artiste created waves at the start of the summer with his single House Party, produced by UIM Records, and has since been in studios making more music that he hopes will create a great impact.
The mixtape is one way he hopes to get his music across, sharing that he believes that he will make "big statements" with his style of music. Sanity said: "The mix tape has all my favourite tracks and it features my favourite slang, Shamshuku, which means anything that is wrong or way out."
Sanity, who grew up in Vineyard Town, Kingston, started doing music officially in 2008. Influenced by reggae legends Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Garnette Silk, and dancehall legends Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and Shabba Ranks to name a few, Sanity has developed a sincere love for both the reggae and dancehall genres.
Sanity is set to start his promotional trail for She Find Out on the Hangover rhythm produced by Jermaine 'Tu Finga' Parchment, and Bed Bun Up on the Island Life rhythm, also produced by 'Tu Finga'. The video for his She Find Out will be shot by Ruption from RD Studios and released later this year.
