Tifa hits Fader, Complex magazines

December 02, 2015

Popular urban music publication Fader recently did an extensive feature and interview on dancehall artiste Tifa.

The publication focused on Tifa's rise in the dancehall, her career, personal achievements and her recently released mixtape, Stay Away.

In addition to the Fader magazine feature, Tifa was also featured in Boom Shots, the reggae section of Complex magazine.

Tifa commented about the features. "I received a number of contacts from industry personnel overseas and featured on other popular United States blogs like the Feministing. Many persons locally have congratulated me and expressed how they admire my openness as an artiste," Tifa explained.

This was the third time that Tifa has been featured in Fader. She was featured earlier this year when the publication did a feature on producer Dre Skull's Black Light rhythm for her

single, Rock My Body.

Tifa is confident that the mainstream press will assist in her music reaching a wider demographic.

Tomorrow, fans can see Tifa performing live with a band at Triple Century in New Kingston as part of the RJR Group's Kingston Music Week series.

"People can come out and hear old hits, new hits, new songs, songs from the mixtape and unreleased songs," said Tifa.
