Kaadinal Fyah drops Champion Gyal
Champion Gyal is the title of the club banger from deejay Kaadinal Fyah. The Manchester-bred artiste now residing in California, is banking on the Dre Swade/Mgeez Production to open opportunities for him musically.
Kaadinal Fyah has been doing music professionally for the past six months. The 23-year-old whose real name is Kemar Brown, grew up in Four Paths, Clarendon.
'Ever since my early childhood music has always played an important role in my life, I grew up listening to Bounty killer, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Merciless and R. Kelly just to name a few. My older brothers use to play Bounty Killer & Sizzla very regularly and those artistes eventually became my idols.
I took more to the liking of Bounty Killer's music and I quickly learned the lyrics to one of his classics called Coppa Shot from then my nickname in the community became Bounty," Kaadinal Fyah explained.
His musical journey has been an exciting one. "My musical journey without a doubt is a very exciting one, a fast boiling volcano soon to explode with no plans of going dormant or extinct. My journey is adventurous and worthwhile so keep watching and see what happens next," he said.
