Jay-5 Flow performs in 'Cali' next week
Dancehall artiste Jay-5 Flow will be performing at a show called 'Dancehall vs R&B' at Harlows Restaurant and Nightclub in Sacramento, California, next week.
"My fans in Sacramento are looking forward to the show, my song, Dancehall Macarena, is a big hit in that area of California," he said.
The artiste is aggressively promoting his new single and video, One Chance, which has racked up thousands of views and impressions online. The views have been spiked by a controversial scene in the video where it appears that Jay-5 Flow appears to be performing an oral sex act with a female stripper.
"Online, some people a bun me out and a seh some little things, but nothing like that never happen, (laughing). People all ah tell mi girl a bagga things, but nothing like that never gwaan (laughing)," Jay-5 Flow said.
Released in April of this year on the Chase Mills Records label, the single has been boosted by the release of a video chock-full of cavorting big-busted girls in bikinis, and scenes out of the feverish testosterone-fuelled dreams of a typical male teenager.
"The video is being played in markets in Europe, Central and South America, and the single is available online through VPAL. I love the feedback so far, especially in the Spanish-speaking countries like Panama, Belize and Venezuela," he said.
The single, appears on the Drugz rhythm. Last year, Jay-5 made his debut appearance on the biggest dancehall-reggae one-night show, Sting, based on the strength of Dancehall Macarena that racked up 700,000 plus views on YouTube.
