Sean Paul tops great year with Grammy nomination
Sean Paul and his fans have their fingers crossed after he received Grammy Award nomination in the Best Pop Duo category with Sia for 'Cheap Thrills'.
The multi-nominated, Grammy Award-winning Jamaican artiste will be knocking heads with fellow Caribbean national Rihanna for her Work collaboration with Drake, which was also nominated in the category.
Sean Paul is no stranger to the Grammy Awards, having won Best Reggae Album for Dutty Rock and being nominated for the Best New Artiste, both in 2004.
Since then, Sean Paul's Imperial Blaze, Tomahawk Technique, and Full Frequency all received nominations for the Best Reggae Album in 2010, 2013, and 2015, respectively.
This makes all of Sean Paul's albums, excluding his very first, being nominated for Grammy Awards.
Sean Paul has been doing continuously well on the music charts across regions.
His two latest collaborations, Tek Weh Yuh Heart, which features rapper Tory Lanez, went number one in its first week of release on the Billboard Reggae Digital Song Sales Chart.
Sean Paul's No Lie with English singer/song writer/model Dua Lipa also made the chart in its first week, debuting at the number three position.
Sean Paul is also slated to release an album in early 2017.
