INDECOM probes fatal shooting of two alleged gunmen in Manchester
Two unidentified men were shot dead during a police operation in Mandeville, Manchester, yesterday morning, triggering a probe by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
Reports are that about 6:40 a.m. on October 19, police personnel assigned to Area Three Headquarters and the Manchester Division were conducting an operation when they received information that men travelling in a silver Toyota Axio motorcar had threatened someone with an illegal firearm.

A search of the motorcar led to the seizure of a Smith and Wesson MP rifle.
Checks revealed that two men had been shot and injured during the incident.
They were taken to the Mandeville Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been established.
