The PathHeights spreading message of love and unity
Germany-based Jamaican reggae group The PathHeights is currently promoting their single titled 'Without Love'.
The song, which is the title track of their forthcoming EP, was released in Europe late last year.
The duo, Akosua Aset and Aumuna, are desirous of an audience in their homeland.
"We are very happy that our music is getting exposure in Jamaica. We want our people to get the message and feel the positive male and female energy in our music," said Akosua Aset.
She said their music is roots and poetry, with an ancient Afrocentric vibe.
"We make music for the world, and our music has a universal message of peace love and unity," she added.
The duo, formed in Kingston in 2012, has been based in Germany since 2013.
"Akosua and I started performing together using our individual names before we moved to Germany. We took the name The PathHeights in 2014, which originates from the name that was used to describe the original people of the planet who were the creative and artistic beings. These people were known as the Ptahites," said Aumuna.
In 2015, The PathHeights returned to Jamaica to record tracks for their EP. They also shot the video for Without Love.
