Appleton Estate Signature Nights returns tonight
The Appleton Estate Signature Nights series returns tonight, at Woodstock in Negril, and will feature the legendary Beres Hammond in his first local performance of 2017.
A continuation of its launch in 2016, Appleton Estate Signature Nights is a sensitisation programme combining brand education and superb entertainment from some of the biggest names in Jamaica's music scene.
The campaign spreads awareness of the new label packaging of the range of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum brands by J Wray and Nephew Ltd, aligned with its global prestige.
Rich 'edutainment' blend
Last year, Appleton Estate Signature Nights toured the island, making stops in Kingston, Negril, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and Old Harbour.
Patrons were treated to performances by reggae artistes Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, and Romain Virgo.
Tamika West, marketing manager at J Wray and Nephew Ltd, was thrilled to announce the continuation of the live event series.
"Appleton Estate Signature Nights offers a rich 'edutainment' blend of Jamaica's most treasured creations, reggae music and rum," she said.
West noted that in 2016, the series rolled into style bars like Macau Gaming Lounge and Bar, Pier 1, Italian Cafe, Kaluga Cafe, and Ocean's 11, to the backdrop of sweet live reggae music.
West said it was an honour for the Grammy-nominated Hammond to be performing at Woodstock, a partner of the brand.
"We look forward to an exhilarating 2017 Appleton Estate Signature Nights season, so we are imploring everyone to check the press and our social media handles for details on the year to remember that we have in store for them," she said.
Patrons can also enjoy an interactive photo booth to capture memories from the first staging of the series.
