'Ya So Nice' producer Lanz starts new career
Five years ago he created the beat to the popular Ya So Nice single by newcomer Potential Kidd. Now producer-turned-artiste Orlando Francis, better known as Lanz, is gearing up for a career as an artiste.
He has released the song She Naa Leggo on the Ubique Muzyq label.
The song comes right on the heels of his recent performance at the Bob Marley Festival held in Trench Town where he delivered a much talked about performance.
Featured on the 'Grip' rhythm, She Naa Leggo has been making waves specifically at dancehall sessions where it is played.
"It's a song about two girls weh neva want fi let mi go even though dem know I was in a relationship with both and dem always a fight wid each other," Lanz commented.
The 22-year-old Lanz, who created the Chicken Gravy rhythm that gave birth to Potential Kidd's hit, recently entered into a partnership with the Ubique Muzyq label which has plans to make him a household name.
A music video for 'She Naa Leggo' and another single 'Three Years of Heartache' are set to be completed shortly.
