Baby Tash gets attention for 'Party Time'
Self-proclaimed Dancehall Diva Baby Tash is excited about the reception she has been getting on her latest single, 'Party Time', on the Loodi rhythm, produced by So Unique Records.
"I am grateful that this song is doing so well because it was actually recorded a while back. This shows that it's good to do songs with concepts that can sustain relevance," she said.
The Big Man Me Want singer, who also the wrote the song, said that people enjoy music that they can relate to.
She also explained that the song represents the way hard-working people feel sometimes while dealing with the pressures of work life.
"This is a party song with a relatable storyline. Party Time is for those hard-working people who sometimes have those days weh dem a wish dem neva haffi a worry bout going work nor school, but just want to have fun. The song has a very catchy melody which leaves you singing," she said.
The song is distributed by 21st Hapilos and is available on iTunes. The Loodi rhythm also features songs from Vybz Kartel and Konshens.
Meanwhile, Baby Tash said she is focused on releasing and promoting new music, including a reggae song.
"I am looking forward to releasing my first authentic reggae one drop single, Love You, Mama, which was produced by Kirkledove Records on the Dub Play It rhythm. I'm directing my attention to the European market as my music has been getting massive love from my fans there," said Baby Tash, who has been relatively quiet since losing her house to a fire in 2016.
