Shifta on musical high following UK tour
Kingston native, United States-based recording artiste Shifta, is feeling upbeat about his musical career after a successful 2016.
Following the triumph of his You And I EP hitting the iTunes and Billboard charts, Shifta has been working tirelessly to make a name in the music industry.
"I have been doing music over a decade and my main objective is to keep producing good music that the public can relate to. My EP was on the iTunes and Billboard charts for over three weeks and I'm grateful for everyone who helped to put it there," he said.
Shifta partnered with House Of Marley as an ambassador for their line of Marley Speakers.
"I met with Frass Twins, Rohan Marley and Stephen Marley, and after much conversation an endorsement deal was laid out. It's an honour to be working with musical legends and I intend to make the most out of this opportunity," said Shifta.
After touring the UK, US and Jamaica from late last year, Shifta said he is optimistic about 2017.
"(The year) started out on a high following the attention from the tour, and I intend on keeping the momentum going with more releases by mid-year," he said.
