WESTERN BUREAU:

Sean Paul performed to a standing room only audience in the ballroom, Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, Ocho Rios, on Saturday night.

After blazing onto stage at approximately 9:15 p.m. with the raunchy Breathe, a 2003 track recorded with Blu Cantrel, for over 90 minutes Sean Paul had the audience of mostly people from overseas and a smaller but no less energetic local presence dancing and hanging on to his every word.

Sean Paul interacted with the audience, at times giving the option of requests, which he obliged.

Waving a white towel, Paul took the audience through Baby Boy (recorded as a duet with Beyonce), I'm Still In Love (recorded with Sasha), Gimme The Light, Temperature, Got 2 Luv You and maybe the most popular of all, Give It Up To Me (recorded with Keisha Cole).

His performance enhanced by choreographed moves with his two dynamic female dancers, when it seemed Sean Paul had taken his final bow audience members stayed in place until he returned for an encore

Speaking with THE STAR Sean Paul, who said he was leaving for Russia shortly, said it is always a pleasure performing in Jamaica, as "this is where it all started. He noted that when he was contacted for the concert he did not hesitate "as I saw it as another chance to perform in front of my home crowd."

General manager of the resort Clifton Reader, said in addition to Sean Paul "we have had previous acts such as Canadian based group Magic, Omi, as well as the internationally acclaimed Shaggy."
