Chosen Sound and Platinum Camp Records recently hosted another successful staging of Clash of the Titans.

The event took place in Antigua to crowds of roaring fans who came to see the ultimate showdown among reigning champion Tony Matterhorn, Antiguan champion Stonewall and the German machine Warrior Sound International.

Essentially, what was supposed to be a dubplate showcase ended up being a war between Warrior Sound International and Matterhorn.

Matterhorn proved to be a formidable opponent as he annihilated Warrior Sound International, came through for Jamaica, and brought the champion belt home.

Daddy Biggs of Platinum Camp said he pulled out all the stops to make this event the most talked-about one in the Caribbean.

"The aim for every staging is to make Clash of the Titans bigger and better than the staging before. This time was an absolute success, the turnout was tremendous. Big thank you to the sponsors and those in attendance, you really helped to bring the vision to reality."

The intention of Clash of the Titans is to bring the clash culture, which is famous throughout dancehall, to the rest of the world.

The organisers have also announced December for another staging and Antigua is selected as the coliseum for this event.

"We are in the process of organising another Clash of the Titans with more sounds and more excitement of epic proportions. The brand is growing rapidly, so we ensure that we always deliver, and we won't substitute quality for quantity," said Biggs.
