Semojrah Naki is ready to 'Dream Big'
Canada's award-winning reggae artiste, Semojrah Naki, who is Jamaican by birth, is all geared up to return to his beloved island as he prepares to promote his new single Dream Big under the Isroyal Label.
"I'm really excited about coming back here in Jamaica this summer where my roots are," Naki said in a recent interview. "I hope my new single will inspire young people to never give up hope and keep their eyes on the prize."
Naki's recent project Warriors Don't Cry, his debut EP, has created waves locally and internationally. The EP is named after the single of the same name.
His EP features eight tracks, which focus on subjects of social consciousness, enlightenment, and youth empowerment.
Produced by Isroyal Records, the EP includes songs such as Let Your Light Shine, March Out, No One Feels Our Pain and also features a collaboration with reggae superstar Sizzla titled Never Let Us Down.
Warriors Don't Cry is distributed by VPAL Music, a subsidiary of VP Records that offers independent digital and physical distribution for artistes and labels.
Semojrah Naki was born Jefferey Wayne Donald in Kingston, before later adopting his stage name, which means 'enlightened warrior'.
