Nesbeth upbeat about upcoming album
Since returning from a double stint in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, Nesbeth has wasted no time getting back in the studio to continue work on his debut album.
Though it is still early, the project appears to be off to a good start, as during one of his many recording sessions Billboard hitmaker Omi was spotted vibing in the studio. When quizzed about the name and what fans can expect from the upcoming album the My Dream crooner said, “I can’t divulge much at this time except that we are working on an album. A decision hasn’t been made as yet regarding the name, but we are putting together something that the fans will really appreciate. As for a release date that will be known in the foreseeable future, but right now we focusing more on the musical aspect of the project.”
Last week, the singer teamed up with controversial selector turned producer Foota Hype for the release of another mentally stimulating composition titled Success Story. Produced on the Foota Hype Music (FHM) imprint and featured on the 'Motherland' rhythm, the song tells a tale reminiscent of Nesbeth’s formative years underscoring his trials, triumphs and the treacherous music industry.
Though not yet officially available via iTunes and other digital platforms, the single has been getting a lot of attention especially on the reggae circuit with the potential of becoming another hit for the Rastafarian crooner.
Meanwhile, Nesbeth who has been on a path of mentoring and imparting positive values across various sects of society recently gave a formidable performance at the Police Federation Conference in Montego Bay.
The singer is also booked to appear at the upcoming Caribbean Village Cultural Festival on June 25 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
