Jerome Gichie eyes hit single with 'One Day'
Dancehall artiste Jerome Gichie is looking forward to a bright future in music.
The talented deejay, who hails from the community of Albion in St James, is confident his recently released single One Day, will earn him a place in the hearts of music lovers, both locally and abroad.
The song was produced by Yahsa Tazadaqe and released on the I Wall Production label.
"I'm getting a lot of positive feedback about this song, and I think it's going to be my breakthrough single," said the artiste.
Gichie recently shot a video for the song. The video was filmed in various parts of Albion and Ironshore in Montego Bay by Minto Productions.
It is currently in the final stages of production and is scheduled to be released in July.
"We wrapped up the video shoot a week ago. We got some great scenes, I can't wait to see the final edit. I want this video to be perfect; a good video is a vital marketing tool," he said.
The hard-working entertainer is also working on a seven-track EP which is slated to be released later this year.
"I'm very excited about this project, we've recorded some very good tracks so far. We still have a few more to go, I want this EP to be something that music fans will love and appreciate globally," Gichie said.
Gichie is a past student of Anchovy High School and launched his recording career in 2013 with a single titled So In Love.
