Journalist curses Damian Marley in Kenya

A Kenyan journalist unleashed a verbal assault on Reggae superstar Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya recently.

A video of the exchange has been making the rounds on social media.

The STAR gathered that the journalist, Chiko Lawi, a presenter of Capital FM a Kenyan radio station, claims that Damian Marley doesn’t talk to people.

He was apparently bothered because the reggae star allegedly refused to take a fan photo.

The video shows both men walking with luggage.

Lawi was videotaping while hurling expletives at Jr Gong. He also shouted “This is my home.”

 "Damian Marley just ignored a young fan with her daughter because he is too tired! I just could not hold it back," the said the journalist.

Damian Marley is visiting East Africa for the first time. He is set to perform on Wednesday at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi before visit the Nairobi Animal Orphanage where he is expected to adopta lion
