Fuse to debut his fashion line at Caribbean Fashion Week
Fuse ODG, one of the UK’s biggest stars and champion of ‘New Africa', will debut his fashion line and perform at Caribbean Fashion Week.
The Afrobeats star will perform and show his collection on Saturday.
“We cannot wait to welcome Fuse ODG to CFW. Jamaica loves his music and beyond that, his message of self love resonates with everything we stand for. It’s going to be an epic year,” said Pulse International founder Kingsley Cooper.
Previous designers at CFW have included Cedella Marley, who presented the official Jamaican Olympic uniforms designed by herself and modelled on Usain Bolt.
Born Richard Abiona in south London, Fuse ODG, whose previous UK Top Five Chart hits include ‘Million Pound Girl’ and 'Dangerous Love' with dancehall star Sean Paul, will bring his New Africa message to Jamaica, introducing his new NANA fashion collection to the international runway before delighting attendees with a performance.
Caribbean Fashion Week is pre-imminent in drawing the world’s attention to the talent the Caribbean have to offer.
The powerhouse behind some of the fashion industry’s major players, Pulse, which owns Caribbean Fashion Week, has been instrumental in the launch of numerous international models.
