Dreama eager to find success
International recording artiste Dreama is eager to find the kind of success he enjoyed earlier in his career.
Fresh out of the Edna Manley School of Music in 2002, Dreama signed a recording contract with Dave Kelly's Mad House label.
The talented singer, who did a two-year stint with the label recording under the moniker,' J', made his mark on the music scene in 2002 with the release of a controversial hit single titled Dick, featuring Beenie Man.
He also recorded another song with Beenie Man titled Party Hard, which was featured on the soundtrack of the 2002 movie, Blue Crush.
Party Hard was also released on Beenie Man's 2002 Tropical Storm album for Virgin Records.
Dreama is eyeing a return to the top of the charts with his latest single, Never Forget (One A Dem). The song, which was produced by Chris Burg and released on the Somors imprint in April, is currently getting heavy rotation on up FM radio.
"I've come a long way since I began my career. I gained a lot of experience working with Dave Kelly, and I'm ready to take my career all the way to the top of the music biz. Right now, my new single is getting a lot of love from radio stations all over the world, and it's also doing well in the streets," said Dreama.
The New York-based singer, who hails from Cooreville Gardens in Kingston, recently visited the island for a one-week media run, which he said went well.
During his visit, Dreama also shot a video for Never Forget (One A Dem). The video, which was directed by Krusher of RD Studios, was released on June 10.
