The annual Ocho Rios Seafood Festival, fresh from securing sponsorship agreements with the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, got another shot in the arm Sunday when Hah-R-Mony Entertainment signed on as title sponsor.

Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, the backing of Hah-R-Mony, arguably the top entertainment company in the island, is considered very significant and according to festival organisers, "an extraordinarily big deal."

As title sponsor, Hah-R-Mony will now have pride of place in all the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival marketing and promotional campaign leading up to the August 1 (Emancipation Day) staging at the Turtle River Park, Ocho Rios.

"This is a very significant development and also a very defining moment for the festival," explained Camille Miller, the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival's marketing manager.

"This Hah-R-Mony deal is especially sweet for the festival and also the resort town of Ocho Rios given that it comes on the heels of the support we have already got from both the JTB and the Culture Ministry."

Miller noted that patrons can now expect a full family oriented treat from a professional and first class entity which has been providing quality entertainment inside the hotels for nearly 10 years.

"The Ocho Rios Seafood Festival is now definitely a can't miss event," she added. "The Hah-R-Mony partnership has taken on added significance and will certainly propel the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival to the very top of the list of festivals here in Jamaica."
