Simple Rattigan makes musical return
Reggae-dancehall artiste Simple Rattigan is now making a return to the music scene after an extended break with 'Think About' that was produced by Speedy Ace Records.
He explains that he has been absent from the music scene for personal reasons.
"I became a father, and I wanted to spend time with my daughter. I wanted to be the best father to her," he said.
Now that he has returned to the music scene with a new song, he said that things have been going well.
"Think About is doing extremely well and getting a lot of airplay across the globe, especially in the European countries, including the United Kingdom, The Bahamas and Costa Rica. I am hoping to reach additional platforms," said Simple Rattigan.
Born Clifton George Rattigan, he made his musical entry in 2009 with his debut single It Nuh Pretty. He has since recorded and released songs like Dem Dead, Too Great and It's Crazy (produced by MV Music).
Two years ago, he got some international recognition when he teamed up with Italian producer Paola Baldini on the track, Come Now.
"The song gave me good international exposure where I was able to work with other producers internationally," he said.
Simple Rattigan added that he is bringing something unique to the music game.
"I have a unique style of singing with range and melody. I'm like a reggae/R&B singer with respect, very humble and simple," he said.
