"The campaign officially started in 2016 with the release of the safe-sex song and official video in April of that year. The move was hailed as nation-building, timeless, and uplifting positive messages of safer sex in the urban community," Denny said.

"The campaign continued in 2017 with the safe-sex promotional tour, with shows in major cities like Kingston, Jamaica, and Chicago. The 2018 edition kicks off with the official public-service announcement a 20-second short ad that touches on key points on prevention, getting tested for STIs, HIV, and knowing your status."
