As Britney Lobban furthers her education through evening classes, this 19-year-old part-time worker takes time out to find, style and even make super trendy outfits. Even with the ease of online shopping, the fashionista has found even more convenient ways to stay on point.

If the Portmore resident isn't studying, or on the road with the Romeich Entertainment promotions team, she is spending her time shopping.

"I love shopping and buying nice things. Mi like dem likkle sumn deh," she told The WEEKEND STAR.

Despite rampant assumptions that fashionistas are attention-seekers, Lobban says she staying on trend is a pasttime; one she doesn't do it for anyone but herself.

"It's just a hobby. I don't do it for the photos or anything like that. I like dressing up. I just really like clothes. I think I'm addicted to clothes," Lobban said.

As a result of this 'addiction', the young style maven doesn't consciously curb her spending. "I have no budget," she confessed.

Sometimes, finding a cute outfit off the rack is challenging. Lobban can overcome that hurdle in one or two steps, the first being online shopping.

"If I'm looking for a dress, I just scroll until I see something that looks unique," she said. However, the unfortunate part of online shopping is the unavoidable wait for two weeks shipping, maybe more.

"If an event is close and mi know mi order wouldn't get here in time, I get a dressmaker to make it."

As a result, Lobban's spending is not overzealous. The clever closet lover makes use of local tailors and seamstresses, which admittedly cushions some costs.

If she doesn't find what she's looking for while browsing online stores, Lobban takes style cues from local social media personality Shanzia.

"I always admire her, how she dresses and carries herself," she said.
