‘Bosses and Dons’ creating waves in dancehall

Up-and-coming recording artistes Real Boss and Quealo Don have collaborated on the dancehall track Bosses and Dons.

The song, which glorifies women, flossing and wealth, was done on the GXM Music imprint.

According to Real Boss, the song has been making waves across the music space.

"The reception is good. Boom Boom and Foota Hype a play it and people a give it the nod. With some more plays and promotion, the song can carry through," he said.

Quealo Don, who is also a studio engineer, told THE WEEKEND STAR that he has high expectations for the song.

He said, "A big song. It's like a party vibe and the street a feel it. More promotion and we can expect great things."

The two are also host of a Sunday social, 'Fun Sunday', which is held weekly on the 'gully side' in Cassava Piece.

"We host it for the youths in the community. We engage them with spelling and do giveaways. Right now it's gearing for back to school so we do donations and give books and pencils," said Real Boss.

The Bosses and Dons video is out on Real Boss' Vevo page, and has been racking up thousands of views since its release a month ago.

Both entertainers are said to be voicing for various production houses and have a string of music to release.

Real Boss has a new soon-to-released single Self Belief, whereas Quealo Don will be releasing the tracks Pretty Pretty and Give Praises.
