Echo Messiah singing for the Lord
Artiste Echo Messiah reveals that his inspiration to serve the Lord came because of a near-death experience, when he was battling with an illness for approximately three years. "Death has passed before my eyes on several occasions, but God brought me through and as a result, I vowed to dedicate the rest of my life in ministry to Him. He has given me this talent and I will not return it unto Him void," he said.
Speaking of his musical inspirations, he specifically points out two individuals.
"(Local gospel artiste) Glacia Robinson has been an inspiration for me because her songs are packed with powerful messages, and her story is somewhat similar to mine," he said. "(American) Don Moen's music has been an inspiration over the years. His music is very peaceful and it encourages me to pray abundantly."
Echo Messiah, given name Sean Holness, is promoting a song titled Last days, which speaks basically of the End Times. Born in Mandeville, Manchester, he started to develop the love for singing gospel at a tender age, where he participated in church concerts and other events. Over the years, he became an entrepreneur but still had the passion for music. He hopes that his music will bring deep messages to listeners, encouraging them to draw closer to God. His lyrics include scriptures and poetic preaching.
He said that his stage name was divinely given and can be embraced by Christians because it speaks to the lifestyle of Christ, demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit genuinely.
