MitchDiSinga speaks out against domestic violence
Jamaican crooner MitchDiSinga touches on the topic of domestic violence in his newest offering, Please Believe.
Produced by 10 Outta 10 Productions, the track was officially released on December 3.
"The song speaks of a toxic relationship gone on the path of no return (death) for both persons involved. Domestic violence is a serious issue and needs to be addressed, which is why I decided to pen this song. Loving someone means you respect and care for each other, even if it means letting go," the artiste explained.
A former member of the group ARP, MitchDiSinga has been working closely with the 10 Outta 10 label for some time, even while still a member of ARP.
"We made some hits working together back then, [with songs] like Storm, alongside Beenie Man; Wickedest Ride, alongside Ricky General; and Give Me The Key, just to name a few," he said. Despite the success, he is very focused on building a name for himself as a solo artiste.
Hoping that Please Believe garners him success both internationally and locally, the recording artiste released the accompanying music video, which was uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday.
"I want this song to reach as many ears as possible, because it is a very good song; and more than anything else, for the message to resonate well with listeners," MitchDiSinga added.
He is working on various projects, including a new album under the Gargamel Music Label. He is also partnering with IceDrop Records out of Denmark on a new juggling project titled the 'Cupcake' rhythm.
"I have loads in store for the new year. I have been working on new projects for my fan base, and hoping to connect with new audiences at the same time," he said.
