Richie Stephens headlines US Christmas party

US-based promoter Mikey Sparkle is in high spirits as he prepares for the return of his annual Christmas party.

This year's event will feature a special appearance from reggae singer Richie Stephens and the 3RDegree band. The party is scheduled for December 18 at the Grand Palais Banquette Hall in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

"My Christmas party is one of the most anticipated Christmas events in Georgia. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep it last year because of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US. However, it's back this year and given the fact that Richie Stephens is the featured act, I'm anticipating a huge turnout. He's one of Jamaica's best singers and the people know that they can always expect an awesome performance from him," said Sparkle.

The Kingston-born promoter says strict COVID-19 protocols will be enforced at the event.

"Protecting human lives is always a top priority. Temperature checks will be done at the entrance of the venue and we'll also ensure that patrons attending the event sanitise their hands and hand sanitisers will be placed on every table inside the venue," he said.
