Reggae/dancehall recording artiste Vyzadon provided hand sanitisers and stationery supplies for over 50 children in his home town of Trench Town, on Boxing Day.

The artiste partnered with the Purple Slush Foundation on the initiative and was joined by sponsors, including Kirk FP Limited, Lascelles Employees and Partners Co-Operative Credit Union, National Biscuit Company, Last Chapta Music, and Zenyth Muzique.

The artiste campaigned for donations during the festive season and received help from small business owners and former residents who now live overseas.

"When I posted a flyer seeking help to provide for these children, Tamara Duncan, a past resident now living in the United States, responded first. After that, I received support from small businesses and some corporate entities, who saw my vision and opted to help. I am very thankful that I was able to execute this initiative," said Vyzadon.

The artiste had an active year in 2021, performing on Bob Marley's 76th birthday celebration concert, as well as the inclusion of his single Trench Town on the Reggae Compilation Album, headed by Julian Marley, which was considered for a Grammy.

Vyzadon added, "This year I will drop my debut EP, titled Champion, and my Champion Merch Collection with SoChill Clothing line; so I am excited."
