Ovarall advocates safe-sex practices

Dancehall artiste Ovarall recently teamed up with reggae singjay Ras Twyn to record the single titled Walk Wid It.

The song, which talks about the importance of practising safe sex, was produced by Ras & Twin, OMP and Slay Bad Music.

"We've recorded this song to sensitise the public about the importance of practising safe sex, because there are a lot of terrible sexually transmitted diseases out there. Some of them are incurable and in some cases, even fatal. Ras Twyn and I hope that the people will listen to our song and take heed to its message and protect themselves," said Ovarall.

Ras Twyn believes Walk Wid It will do well both locally and overseas.

"This song has a very positive and timely message that will resonate with people all over the world. I believe that once it gets the right promotion, it will do well both in the Jamaican market and overseas," said the artiste. Walk Wid It was released on December 9.

Ovarall is currently working on several new projects, including a six-song EP which is slated to be released this summer. He made his debut in 2007 with a single titled Down Inna Di Streets.
