Producer aims to ‘Stay Real’ with new projects

Before Keron Young decided to walk a musical path, he was always known as an individual who offers positive advice to those who surround him.

Today, the audio engineer-turned-producer is operating under the brand, YowLevite Productions. Recently, he teamed up with JB Productions for the release of Noah Powa's single, Stay Real. Since its February 10 release, the track appears to have gained favour among radio disc jocks across the Caribbean and even those in Africa. The single is also becoming a favourite on the New York dancehall scene.

"This track was an 'in the moment' song. Noah and I were in the studio and he asked me to listen to a few beats and the first one I played, he immediately felt connected to it and in no time we had a hit on our hands," shared Young.

To further cement his presence on the dancehall scene, Young has opted to take on several projects. He is currently working with up-and-coming artistes Qrush & J Celeb in an effort to get them on the international market. In the coming months, Young will also be working closely with the Frenz For Real team on another project. He is also working closely with JB Productions, Staxx and RedBoom Supamix to complete recording artiste Tashina Muzik's upcoming EP.
