Trensetta Productions returns with new rhythm
When Tedwick Aitken lost his wife Annette Aitken in 2013, he closed their production company, Trensetta Productions, in order to properly recover from the tragic situation.
Before she passed, the two managed to make their name as a powerhouse musical team after successfully releasing a raft of compilations. Recently, Tedwick revamped the company's brand under the guidance of his present wife and new labelmate, Natasha Aitken, in an effort to reintroduce the label.
Last December, they released their first project together titled, 'Brown Money Volume 1', a compilation featuring artistes like Fantan Mojah, I-Octane and Shane O. Shortly after, they released another volume of the rhythm featuring artistes like G Maffiah and Sativa Di Black 1.
"This project has definitely granted us a worthy re-entry into the business and I am thankful for everyone who is working overtime to make Brown Money a success. The rhythm has been making a massive impact across the Caribbean and in North America and it's a blessing to see that our campaign has proven to be effective," said Tedwick.
In an effort to positively add to the growth of dancehall's industry, Tedwick and Natasha have shared that they will be venturing into artiste management.
"We have the resources and the passion needed to fuel the careers of talented artistes and we are ready to put our efforts together to make long- lasting stars. Recently we signed four aristes to our label, Nigma 1 Wurl, Sprynn Brain, Wippa Demus and Kry Boss. Each artiste represents a different musical style which makes them the ideal team players. We have a slew of new music slated to be released for 2022 as well as a promotional tour in the works and we are eager to see what opportunities lie ahead," shared Natasha.
The duo are currently putting the final touches on their 'Brik Pon 'Brik' rhythm, which is set to be released in coming months.
