Versi’s ‘Easy Nuh Baby’ racking up YouTube views

Dancehall artiste Versi is pumped up about the buzz created by his single, Easy Nuh Baby, which has racked up over four million views on YouTube since its release over a month ago.

"The hard work is paying off. Since the start of the year, mi practically live inna the studio just recording songs constantly. My VersiVEVO subscribers have doubled since January and my streaming numbers have tripled. The growth is there and I am just pushing ahead, full steam ahead," Versi said.

Easy Nuh Baby was released on the Cawvinz Entertainment label in March. Versi will be releasing a new video for his popular single, Star, today. The visuals were shot by video director Shurvel Sheep in New York City, particularly Manhattan and Brooklyn. "It's a fun video, just me and several girls treating Versi like the star he is," said the artiste.

Versi has been experiencing relative success since the start of 2022, with songs such as the club-banger Naw Steam which has 500,000 plus views, and Perseverance, which has over 400,000 views.

In the meantime, Versi's long-awaited album is in the works and he is aiming for a 2022 release. His Sacrifice EP, which features nine tracks, was released last June and is reportedly doing well.

"I am ready to take it to the next level, especially with the entertainment scene opening up more in Jamaica," he said.
