Veteran crooner Richie Spice has released a new single titled Real Love, which hit the top 10 of the Reggae iTunes Chart on its first day of release.

"This song by Cryshy Records is about real love which I and I get from my mother. I love my mama to the greatest extent. But in these last days, the ladies have been treated cruel because of a lack of songs about love. So this is a song for them...to uplift all ladies in their day-to-day living, because the woman of the earth is a powerful force," he said.

Richie Spice also acknowledged that the song "hitting the top 10 of the iTunes Reggae chart is a great achievement".

Real Love leads out the 'Real Love' rhythm project, which also features Luciano and Sizzla. The project is produced by US-based independent label Cryshy Records LLC.

Richie Spice's first recorded song was Killing A Sound, which was produced by Dennis 'Star' Hayes and released in 1994. This was followed by Shine, produced by Clive Hunt.

He also teamed up in 1995 with Hunt for his debut album, Out of The Blue, on the Island Jamaica label, which spawned his first major hit song, Groovin' My Girl.

The artiste is also known for classics such as Earth A Run Red, Marijuana, Plane Land and Brown Skin.
